The silversmith sits before the fire and never takes his eyes off the metal he holds in the hot flame.  He is waiting to see his image.  Once that happens, he knows the transformation is complete.

The Ripple Effect

Whatever you start, whether it's an argument, an apology, a new job, relationship, etc. you set things in motion of a similar nature. 

Are you attacking or loving during your day? 

Are you thinking of what you're against (certain people, conditions, etc.) or what you're for (harmony, peace for everyone.)  A ripple effect is being put into motion.  In business and friendships, it's called networking.

Half Full or Half Empty?

"There is nothing good or bad, but thinking makes it so." Shakespeare.

An analyst would say the glass is both half full and half empty in mathematical terms:
1/2 x F (full) = 1/2 x E (empty)
Do the math -- multiply both sides by 2
F  =  E

The insomniac will be up all night worrying over evaporation.

An enlightened person will say, "There is no glass."
