Reflections

"The great blue heron is considered the king of the marsh.  It is the shortest of the herons and when it flies, its head is folded back in a flat S-shaped loop. This reflects the innate wisdom of being able to maneuver through life and control its life circumstances." Animal-Speak, Ted Andrews

The message is clear...are you opportunity minded, self reliant, determined to chart your own life or  is life controlling you?

Waning Light

The waning of light used to affect Daphne emotionally... Yet, the challenge rarely distracted her any longer because she had Dr. Wake's library with books of great wisdom from across the ages that she studied night after night.
Daphne's Web: A Haunting Legacy

Have you ever heard about the Reading Quotient?

It is a term applied to colleges.  It seems that those institutions  located in northern areas where the light is less during the school year, actually have a higher score on the Reading Quotient.

The students find light elsewhere...inside themselves through study and contemplation.

Things Are Never What They Seem

"Objects in mirror are closer than they appear."

Whenever we keep thinking about the past, it repeats itself in our present, habitually closer than we realize.

Don't look back might be a familiar phrase.

Miracles Galore

Hurricane Sandy has taken quite a toll on so many people, yet  miracles are happening everywhere.

Here's the glitch...in order for a miracle to occur to one who is temporarily in need, that person must be willing to receive.

So many people are eager to help others, but not take any help for themselves.

Both giving and receiving are the same thing.  It's a holy communion between brothers to receive the Love of a miracle.

Divine Source is stimulating all of it.

Hurricane Sandy

Hi,

I am recovering from this terrible storm that flooded my street.

When you read my book you will realize how difficult such weather conditions are in Franklin Port and the toll it takes on everyone.

Thanks to the many brave people who assisted in the effort to keep the town safe.

Hopefully, I will be more available in the near future...please be patient -- LOA  :)

Autumn

Inside of us, there's a continual autumn. Our leaves fall and are blown out over the water.
                          Rumi

Every final word in an argument leaves us with the next step in the relationship, the new beginning.

Loving as well as hating words travel far and wide.

Harvest Time

Everything has a time.

A time to sow thoughts for new dreams.
A time to nurture what you sowed.
A time for patience and faith when all is still at work in the Invisible.

And then the circle becomes complete -- in the Harvest Time.
