Your Mental Palace

**How have you built the rooms in your mind?**

Are they large and spacious and appointed by Old World architectural details?
Do they have floor to ceiling windows with views far beyond the walls?
Or...are the rooms of your mind small and claustrophobic, dreading the world outside?

**How have you decorated the rooms in your mind?**

Does powerful music fill all the space?
Have you hung fine art and placed comfortable furnishings everywhere?
Do guests always feel welcome to sit awhile and share new ideas?
Is the door to your Mental Palace open for the least of our brothers?
Or...are the rooms of your mind cluttered with angry thoughts and nothing new can enter?

    1. Hi,

The only question you need to ask yourself is this:

      Do I want to change?

All too often, we want others to change instead. But the angry thoughts are in YOUR mind, or MY mind.

The change must take place at the correct level of confusion.

    1. Hi,

Yes, because it actually will seem a lot more like love rather than effort when you do.

Here's the thing about this...it's always our own perception to believe we have been badly hurt.

It is difficult to overlook some of the terrible things someone may say about us, but if we choose to find the Light in that person anyway, we have expanded our own Inner Light.

That's why it feels more loving to make the effort and...you are offering the same chance for the other person to receive the Love for themselves.

However, don't be attached to that outcome happening for the other person. Some people need more time or even future lifetimes to make such a shift in consciousness.

    1. Hi,

If I am understanding you correctly, I think you are referring to material things.

If so, I understand, because many people around the globe do not even have shelter, clean water, or food, including enough for children and animals. It does feel selfish to have so much.

In that respect, your feelings are compassionate.

Creating a Mental Palace is different and is symbolic of something else.

There is no proper place in the Inner Plane of Thought for us to think we are selfish or greedy or anything of a negative nature. We are Divine Beings, fashioned in that nature.

When we create our Inner Mind into a Palace, we now have the Spirit Power to change the world, to help with impoverished conditions around the globe, to freely give all to all.

But if the mind is a shabby dwelling filled with fear and doubt, we have little to give.

Mother Theresa said that if you can't feed the world, feed one person. By making your Inner World of Thought a Mental Palace, you will be able to extend yourself to many, many people.

Ultimately, this blog and this post are never about me or you, but about everyone else, our brothers and sisters, humanity. We are creating our Mental Palace for all of them.

      Blessings...
