Autumn's Reflections

As we reflect upon autumn's waning light and cessation of the growing cycle, it's a perfect time to look inside ourselves for renewal.

Begin preparing for Yule on December 21st.  This is the longest night of the year that marks the start of a growing sun.  Celebrate it with fire and the colors of red and green.

    1. Hi,

      I understand how you feel.

Decades ago, before computers, I dealt with the cold by writing during those months. I lit candles, put on Vivaldi music and opened my journal to a blank page.

Quite unexpectedly, words flowed forth...from somewhere else... perhaps even from other people I did not know.

It was so fascinating that I might have stepped into a channel of consciousness, that I have become very fond of winter for offering me the experience.

Now I write all the time. The cold brought my soul purpose into existence. Allow the same to be with you. Maybe you are a secret knitter, of quilt maker? Discover yourself when the weather insists you go within. XO
