Among many things, the moon represents the Divine Feminine and all the mysteries of Creation, of which the human is the highest.
As a planet, it influences all water on the earth, including the 70 - 90% water content in the human body.
An "intuitive" such as yourself is receptive to the moon's energy. That connection shifts the subconscious every so slightly each month.
The yearning you have is for more...it is the Call of Spirit to awaken to the Higher Mind.
