Appreciation

Humans possess a somewhat interesting psychology when it comes to appreciation.  Although we want things to come our way without much cost of either finances or hard work, we rarely appreciate those things at all.

If you can enjoy the dandelions in your yard this year as a free gift,  imagine what else you will also notice.

    1. Hi,

That's so funny because that exact thing just happened to me yesterday! Something was written in the Daphne's Web book over three years ago. It was reread a thousand times.

Only yesterday did I understand there was a great symbolic meaning behind what was written.

So if the author doesn't understand her own book, what does that mean???

  2. How can I make sure my kids grow up to appreciate what they have? Everything is about more, bigger, faster and so on.

    1. Hi,
That is the profound question in modern times.

I think children learn to appreciate what they have by being exposed to others who appear to have less. We don't have to go abroad to find such people, they live in our neighborhoods.

Seek and you will find many in need. Work with your children to raise money, or to personally assist these families.

Your local churches and synagogues have direct access to others in need.

It's not about taking the abundance away from your children, it's about them having the desire to SHARE from their abundance. When that piece is in place in their hearts, it releases them from thinking they need more -- they understand a high spiritual Truth -- they already have it all!
