Once we plant a seed, the work is just beginning... How many ideas do we have each day? How many take root and come to fruition? Success comes from the details necessary to make an idea into actuality and the details require endless concentration.
Even Biblical icons share that struggle. We know better, but we don't do better.
ACIM teaches that we have 2 minds at work in the human experience. Learning to master the ego mind that does not want good change to happen, is the whole secret.
Ultimately, it all boils down to putting our thinking, speaking and actions into perfect alignment before our circumstances will change for the better.
I understand exactly what you are saying. When I feel that way, I am dutiful to my responsibilities, while still holding fast to my dreams.
I find that being grateful for the work I have to do in the moment, opens the doorway for newer things to trickle in.
For some, it comes like a flood-- all at once. For most others, it is a slow process.
Our daily work is not in opposition to our desires. In fact, it holds the secret for new things to appear simply by way of the attitude we choose to see it with.
Why is is so hard for people to change even if they want something to happen for them?
