Summer's End

Summer’s end has a feeling all its own--the smells, sounds, and light. Shadows are longer, crickets are louder, and there is the fragrance that foretells of Fall.

I have to work very hard not to feel depressed when light wanes in fall and winter.

  1. What do you do when you say work hard not to feel depressed when light wanes. I don't like that either so I'm open. Thanks

    1. Hi,
      That's a good question.
For me, it's easy to feel a bit depressed when summer ends. The work comes in changing my thinking.

Sometimes I find it very difficult to appreciate anything when I slip into melancholy. But I know a new attitude will bring more inner light into my day ❤️
