Reaching


I recall a conversation I had with someone who witnessed the fall of the Berlin Wall.  For days there was dancing in the streets and thousands of people moving about. 

Then someone asked..."Now what?"

We need goals to strive higher.  That is the human part of our experience in the physical world.  This is what gives us the   charge to work and endure life.

Beauty



In the world view, everything has an opposite side to it.  But in the nature of Truth, they are only varying degrees of the same thing.

The goal is to reconcile the pairs of opposite, a flower in full bloom with one that is withered, and know there is no difference.   When you can apply that to all human behaviors which share such duality-- good and evil, for example, you are mastering your ego.

Knowing what you want
Desire to reach the goal
Clear, organized plans
Knowledge necessary to move forward...etc.

HERE ARE A FEW QUALITIES FOR LACK OF PERSISTENCE:
Procrastination
Lack of interest
Indecision
Placing the blame on others
Excuses
Wishing instead of willing...etc.
