OMG I would love to live in a haunted house if the ghost is nice. Yours seem especially nice I didn't know you can make friend with a ghost. But maybe your not friends, LOL. Are you ever scared? Weird.
Daphne --- that was very interesting! Is that the first time the ghosts appeared in the mirror? Is there anything that made them show up at that moment? I see things in ghost hunts about "era cues" and wonder if you played Victorian music or something like that. I want to thank you for posting them in your video. Hope you get the book published soon. Good luck! Mara
I hope the right publisher picks this up. The plot is intriguing and I have a feeling its not scary, violent but a little on edge. I agree with the other comment that there is a creepy feeling that I LOVE. And it looks like a love story is going on too. I'll be checking back.
The most haunting EVP was..."Keep searching for us."
This was because I had been visiting the local cemetery. I was looking for the original owners who I knew to be buried there, but had no luck in my search.
Did you know you had a haunted house when you moved in??? What is the strangest thing that ever happened??? Does the book tell those things? Will the ghost ever write on this blog??? ROFL
As a child, I went with my parents to roam around abandoned mansions that fell to ruins after the depression. It was a family "thing." That was when my psychic abilities kicked in, the walls spoke to me.
My childhood house was built for my parents in the early 1940s and had nothing paranormal. More than anything, I wished I lived in a haunted Victorian.
In 2002, my dream finally came true and yes, I knew it was haunted the first night. It was so scary, I ran out, faster than the speed of light...really funny when I look back on it now...
As for the ghost, he wrote the book. We are 2 authors who were given the strangest of things to write. The story of how it came about is another book for one or both of us to tackle, once we get our foot in the door to publishing.
What did the ghost do when he got them into the turret? Maybe you cant tell me but I really want to know what happened. Is the turret really weird in person? GG
You are right, I can't tell you the secrets in the turret...sorry..
As far as the real turret is concerned, it is really weird. It is 4 1/2 stories tall with an incredible view at the top. But few people ever want to stay in it very long, especially when they turn to leave and look up at what's behind them.
During my first holiday season, a properly secured Christmas tree in a perfectly balanced tree stand, secured with weights on all four sides, quietly fell over in the middle of the night.
Not a single, antique glass ornament broke, the garland was not disturbed, even the angel on top remained in position. It was as if the tree was lovingly placed on its side.
We were sitting in a Law of Attraction class and I asked if anyone's life had changed from the lessons.
No one's life had changed, including mine. Then it dawned on us, none of us were doing anything new to make life change.
At that moment, things started happening around us in the house, lights blinking, keys missing, etc. We took that for supernatural inspiration and decided to write a book.
However, the original story line changed as the writers changed. The process has taken considerable time. We remained persistent. Now we remain patient for a publisher.
I understand the feeling the ohter person was talking about. It is like something is simmering but it is from a very old, long time ago. No skeletons jumping out just something under the surface. Makes me want to know.
Awesome!
ReplyDeleteHi,
DeleteThank you for your kind response.

ReplyDeleteHi,
DeleteThe ghost and I are more than friends...you will see what I mean once the book is published.

ReplyDeleteHi Mara,
DeleteYes, it was the first time such images appeared in a mirror and no, there was absolutely nothing to provoke such a thing to happen.
Everyone was pleasantly surprised. I'm glad you enjoyed it too.
~D~
Very very cool and a little creepy.
ReplyDeleteYes, very cool and a little creepy...my sentiments, exactly.
DeleteIt's one thing to believe a house is haunted, but an entirely different thing to know it is, especially hearing the EVPs.

ReplyDeleteMy, my...you are quite intuitive and would fit nicely in my School for Dreams.
DeleteNo doubt, the ghost would find your abilities useful.

What did the EVPs say?
ReplyDeleteThe most haunting EVP was..."Keep searching for us."
DeleteThis was because I had been visiting the local cemetery. I was looking for the original owners who I knew to be buried there, but had no luck in my search.
After that EVP, I found their gravestones.

Bet its not gory. I would read this.
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteIt's spooky but not gory.
None of us are immune to life's realities. There are heavy doses of it in the book for each character.

Did a tree float across the room in the real house? I would just die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi,
DeleteIn the real house, a tree did not float but...

There was absolutely no explanation except for...

I don't really believe in ghosts. :-<
ReplyDeleteHi,
DeleteI understand.
I would like to know, do you believe in Spirit? Would you write back and let me know?
~D~
I like seeing what the author saw to be inspired. I hope you get published soon.
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your support. We appreciate it.
The book began like this...

I like the "feeling" in the video. Is that the feeling in the book?
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI wonder which feeling you are picking up intuitively?
The book was created with deep passion among the three of us, two authors and one ghost.
LL Cartin
I understand the feeling the ohter person was talking about. It is like something is simmering but it is from a very old, long time ago. No skeletons jumping out just something under the surface. Makes me want to know.
ReplyDeleteHi,
DeleteI just delight in your intuition and your desire to know more.
Is something simmering inside you?

Who we are is what we attract and this creative writing exemplifies the spirit.
ReplyDeleteHi,
DeleteIf I am understanding you correctly, I think you are validating our work. Thank you.
We are so impressed by the questions being asked on this blog. They are nicely matched to the mysteries in this story.
LL Cartin
do you know the story of the ghost couple in the video? is your book based on that? kind of intriguing
ReplyDeleteHi,
DeleteAfter I moved into the house, I learned the story of the ghost couple in the video.
Once the writing began, I realized there was much more to it, their secrets no one knew about.
L Cartin
The video is no longer available- I am so disappointed!
