ARROW IN MIRROR

She cried out, "Who is that child?"

The voice responded, “Gwendolyn, please find him and help him. Then I’ll have a gift for you.”

“Find who…help who…what gift?”

Everything faded away except for an arrow floating across the mirror and disappearing into thin air.

  1. The book was intriguing and charming. I like the time it was set in. Got it last weekend-could not put it down. So I don't post a spoiler-- a symbolic view I have of the arrow is that it represents connecting the past, present and future.

Thanks for reading Daphne's Web and for withholding a spoiler. I love your thoughts on the arrow. I believe you understand the ending more than I did. XOXO

    3. Hi,

You are exactly right. Did you read the story? Do you know where the arrow was heading? XO

    4. Sorry I took so long to answer you. Yes I read it and loved the twist and turns especially the last part surprised me. I think the arrow was like a vision and it meant different things for different people so I don't know where it was headed. I will actually reread the book because I think I missed some of the meaning of things.

    5. Hi,

Several people have indicated a second reading clarified the symbolism. I hope you find the time to reread it. XO
