Squirrel Antics

If squirrel catches your attention today, there is a message for you. Squirrels are practical, working diligently in fall to put away acorns and nuts.  In  winter, they  frolic from tree to tree, chasing each other on snowy days.

Maybe we are being shown there is a time to work and a time to play, and the balance of both makes for a happy life.

Amaryllis in Winter

This plant has rich mythological and symbolic lore conveying love, determination, beauty or pride.

If you have been gifted or purchased a bulb for the holidays, it will repay your care and attention given with a splendid bloom on a bleak winter day.

Filling the Darkness

Magic of Plenty

The symbolism of the Cornucopia, “horn of plenty,” is always around us. We don’t have to limit its use to one season, as Nature reflects constant abundance.

Any time of year, consider making a   Basket for someone, filled with thoughtful treats.
