Half Full or Half Empty?

"There is nothing good or bad, but thinking makes it so." Shakespeare.

An analyst would say the glass is both half full and half empty in mathematical terms:
1/2 x F (full) = 1/2 x E (empty)
Do the math -- multiply both sides by 2
F  =  E

The insomniac will be up all night worrying over evaporation.

An enlightened person will say, "There is no glass."

Here's an idea:

Maybe it's always Just Enough!  "...thinking makes it so."

    1. Hi,

      Yes, perception is quite interesting because we believe it's truth when it's only a very small part, and possibly not shared by anyone else.

      This is why people fight over everything.

    1. Hi,

      An enlightened being knows the physical world is not Real and Spirit is the only Reality.

      In the illusion, both the glass and water do exist, if you want them to.

      See Post dated June 15, 2012 -- The Ghost's Library.

      Your confusion will begin to dwindle once you have searched the ancient texts for understanding.
