Too often we encounter relationships we refer to as oil and water -- they just don't mix.
Yet the oil is a necessary thing, and so is the water. In fact, we can't live without either one.
When difficult relationships go awry, the individuals often suffer low self-esteem as a result of the conflict.
This need not be, must not be.
The combination can produce something rather spectacular if we choose to see the situation with new eyes, another perspective -- with the simple willingness to accept what is.

I see another eye
ReplyDeleteHi,
DeleteWhat a wonderful observation.
If you think of an all-seeing eye in everything, you begin to awaken to a Higher Power around you.
In the most difficult of relationships, there are glorious lessons to be learned once the individuals allow themselves to see.

i like idea but what about people who act out. i cant accept so what do i do?
ReplyDeleteHi,
DeleteAll things can be summed up like this: It's either love or a call for love.
It's easy to dislike certain behaviors in people. We usually react with rejection.
But if we take one moment of time to realize such a disruptive person is screaming for love, we might consider another approach, a more loving response instead.
Years ago, our local news reported a man who had shot some people and then escaped with a woman in her car.
One thing led to another, and she brought him home to her house and made him pancakes. He surrendered to the police.
Love will always win out, just not as quickly as we might like, but never give up.
