Summer's Remnants

"Daphne was looking at the sunset through the old Victorian's windows, heavily clouded over by layers of salty mist from the harbor.  She glanced down at tiny grains of sand still clinging to her tanned feet from a beach walk, just taken.  I guess I won't be seeing much more of that, she lamented, thinking of the pending fall and winter ahead and the heavy boots necessary for the cold, northeastern storms."

    1. Hi,

In the winter of 1969, I traveled further north, leaving Jason in charge of the old Victorian.

The days were shorter and colder and the wind howled through the windows. But that was not the worst of it for Jason -- the ghosts terrifed him, nearly to death.

Yes, this house in particular can be rather daunting in winter.

    1. Hi,

On my first night in the house when all was dark and I was bathing...he appeared. I was terrified!

      But...we became lovers.

He shows up in many ways, in mists of cloud stuff, plumes of color, in a suit of his Victorian generation.

You'll see once the book is published.
