The wind outside howled. The old Victorian creaked and moaned. I could not have planned for better conditions on this night of my Ceremonial Dance class.
"I'm frightened," I heard Cassandra whisper to another student as the electricity went out and the fireplace flames leaped.
Gwen stepped into the center of the dancers' circle. I could see an indigo haze form on her forehead. She furrowed her brow, something distressful was coming to her third eye of psychic sight.
"What is it, Gwen?" I asked.
"I'm seeing a serpent at the base of my spine. It's uncoiling as if it has been disturbed."
"What else can you see?"
"Angels...and...a brilliant White Light," she gasped.
"Gwen, the serpent has been holding your past for you, your Karma and deep emotional wounds. The angels are here to honor your good works and will break those ties to your sadness -- if you allow them."
I knew Gwen had issues and struggles in her life that held her back from success. The serpent is fighting to hold her guilt in place, rising to attack the angels. The angels can set her on the Path of Liberation and release the painful memories. What she chooses in her mind will make all the difference.
The indigo haze grew brighter and covered Gwen's entire face. Suddenly, and without warning, long, violet rays began erupting from the top of her head. Gwen made her choice.
Another student has entered the Center of the Universe.

DeleteYes, Yoga is also a path to enlightment, a shift in your thoughts to see all things with more love and devotion.
When the practice of Yoga is inclusive of mind, body and soul,the student becomes more aware of another Reality.
This is what happens to the dancer as well.

Like many concepts on this blog, the Center of the Universe is an anology to expand the thinking mind. It is being used to represent YOU!
When a dancer discovers inner body awareness, she realizes that it is 99% SPACE, and not physical mass as we have always believed. She becomes a microcosmic version of outer space. Humm...
She learns she is connected to every living thing on the planet, and grows to be a more compassionate being.
That tree is her, that bunny, that person -- all one.
Other terminolgy uses the NOW moment. This is where the past and all its suffering has been dropped and no longer influences or hinders the future.
Can you imagine what a world it would be if grudges and revenge were no longer involved?

DeleteWith psychic sight, one can see auras. Inner transformation changes the hue around the body, as it did for Gwen.
This ability can be developed in anyone who has the desire to enter the Center of the Universe. That means, when one is ready to drop pain and suffering, blame and anger, that person is ready.
