The Flow of Life is more than just letting things happen out of sheer defeat or exhaustion. It's a willingness to know that by letting go, we are in a current that will travel past the circumstances. We aren't stuck along the side. YouTube channel:http://www.youtube.com/user/schoolfordreams YouTube video: http://tinyurl.com/Daphnes-Web
You ask the most valuable and profound question of all. It would take many books to explain, but let me try with the following:
Mostly, it comes from first realizing we are "out" of the flow. When that happens, we begin to look for it, everywhere and in everyone. Seek and you will find...
Eventually, we discover it is inside us!
Yes, the Garden of Eden and the rivers that water and then drain the Garden are allegorical to the human body. Literally, the River of Life is in the fluids of our body.
We can charge the waters to run with the current of Spirit simply by thinking loving thoughts, even in the face of something or someone disturbing to us.
Or, we can become angry and pollute the waters, causing them to be stagnant and fall to the side of the current.
By doing so, we go through a process of regeneration, renewal. It begins in the mind, and results in the physical vehicle -- the body.
This is alchemy!
