Tiny Sparrow vs Mighty Eagle

There is a power within us that once we experience it, we trust nothing else.  It is through this power that all things are possible.

The development of this trust begins with the willingness to undo old beliefs.  This first step may appear as painful because it seems as though things are being taken away.

When I moved in my Victorian, I felt that way. I fought long and hard to keep my old life while at the same time, I really wanted something new. This engendered conflict on a daily basis and was my battle the first 13 years I lived there.  Once  I let myself relinquish what I finally saw as valueless, everything changed, right to the stunning end...

  1. Daphne I am not sure I understand what was valueless. Your possessions or what did you have to relinquish? I am totally overwhelmed with a job, kids, house, husband even a dog. I think this WAS my dream but I don't remember. What in the world can I change. I'm lost.

    1. The dream is ever evolving. What becomes valueless, is what isn't working any longer, and that might be something as simple as the way you are perceiving it.

You might want to reconsider how fortunate you are to have a job, kids, house, husband and a dog in order to remember how much you once valued that dream.

Changing perspective will offer new ways of handling situations and possibly put the joy back into your life.

Never be afraid to construct a new dream. Obviously, you know how to manifest because you've done it so well.

  2. How in the world do you learn to trust yourself if you've made some pretty bad decisions in the past? I keep questioning my choices because some were not good. I want to have a new goal.

  3. Hi,

Your question is perfect...you really don't want to trust the self you know but the SELF you do not know yet.

    Stay tuned, all will unfold...

  4. So are the the old beliefs we have to undo the ones that we came up with or the ones our parents, school etc taught us? I would wonder if I have the belifs from my experiences which would make them valid for me or if they were pounded into my head as a kid.

  5. Hi,

The belief systems we carry are from the world at large -- parents, teachers, even our religious groups. This is why our opinions differ from each other and we often fight brother against brother, country against country.

A belief is a perception. It is not the whole, or Truth. The goal is to move from perception to knowledge, one baby step at a time.

We can begin to do this simply by accepting the following idea:

    Nothing Is As It Appears.

  6. Then whose truth is it and what does that have to do with the law of attraction? Can I guess and say that the law of attraction does not distinguish because it responds to each of us? Is this complicated or is it me?

  7. Hi,

I am delighted by your spiritual curiosity.

The LOA is complicated and also simple at the same time, not to add to your confusion -- sorry.

The LOA operates 100% of the time according to one's thoughts. Negative thoughts can draw some difficulties and road blocks in life.

However, the LOA operates perfectly under right-minded thinking.

Right-minded thinking is everything in Love -- generosity, kindness, honesty, empathy, being a good citizen.

Learn to correct your own behavior every step of the way.

Let this be a beginning and in time, you will understand better.

Pay careful attention to the feelings of others, the care of innocent animals. Practice never turning your back on anything in need.

If you see a plant that is parched from the summer heat, satisfy its thirst with some water. Random acts of goodness will open the correct power of the Law Of Attraction.

    Let me know...
